1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using AIAuditRef.com (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of service
AIAuditRef provides an online compliance reference platform including: legal text and plain-English guides to EU AI Act and related legislation; interactive compliance tools (Risk Classifier, Timeline Calculator, Checklist Builder, Deadline Tracker, Document Generator, Compliance Scorecard); downloadable document templates; and newsletter/update services.
The Platform is intended for compliance professionals, legal teams, AI developers, and organisations subject to the EU AI Act and related regulations. It is not intended for consumers acting in personal non-professional capacities.
3. Not legal advice
AIAuditRef is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. All content — including legal text summaries, plain-English guides, tool outputs, checklist items, risk classifications, document templates, and any other materials — is provided for informational and reference purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, legal opinion, or a substitute for advice from qualified legal counsel. Regulatory requirements may vary based on your specific facts and circumstances. We strongly recommend engaging qualified lawyers and compliance professionals for advice specific to your situation.
4. Account registration
Free accounts are available to all users. You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@aiauditref.com of any unauthorised account access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in misuse, or are used for fraudulent purposes.
5. Subscriptions and payments
Pro subscription (€19/month or €190/year): Access to Document Generator, Compliance Scorecard, and enhanced Deadline Tracker features.
Teams subscription (€49/month or €490/year): Pro features plus multi-user access, shared registry, and admin dashboard.
One-time template purchases: Single purchase, lifetime access, all future updates included.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Annual subscriptions are billed as a single upfront payment.
Cancellation: Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
Refund policy: Subscription refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase, upon written request. Template downloads are non-refundable once downloaded. VAT is applied to EU business customers where required.
6. Intellectual property
All Platform content, tools, designs, and software are owned by or licensed to AIAuditRef. The official text of EU regulations (EU AI Act, CRA, GDPR, etc.) reproduced on the Platform is in the public domain per EUR-Lex terms.
Templates and generated documents: Upon purchase or generation, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the document templates and any generated documents for your internal business compliance purposes. You may not resell or redistribute templates or generated documents as standalone products.
Tool outputs: Risk classification results, checklist outputs, timeline data, and other tool outputs generated for your specific use are yours to use for compliance purposes.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- • Resell, sublicence, or commercialise the Platform's tools or content without permission
- • Scrape, crawl, or programmatically extract Platform content at scale
- • Attempt to circumvent any access controls, paywalls, or security features
- • Use the Platform to create competing compliance tools or services
- • Share account credentials with persons outside your authorised team
8. Accuracy of content
We take care to ensure the accuracy of regulatory content on the Platform, but we make no warranty of completeness or timeliness. EU regulations change, and guidance from the AI Office, European Commission, and national authorities evolves. Always verify important compliance positions against official EUR-Lex publications and seek qualified legal advice. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on Platform content.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIAuditRef shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to: regulatory fines or penalties incurred in connection with your AI Act compliance programme, loss of business, or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amounts you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or Platform notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable EU law.
